Volunteers needed!
Each year the Chatham Education Foundation holds free book fairs at several Chatham County Schools’ elementary and middle schools in low-income areas. We call them Books on Break, as the goal is to let students choose and keep books that they can read over the summer. This year, we have 6 participating schools, and we need volunteers to help set up the fairs and also to help students pick out books during the fairs.
We truly appreciate your help and know you will enjoy making a difference in our community and, of course, seeing the smiles on the students’ faces as they choose their books!
